Lebanon — Mrs. Mary Brunes Quellhorst, 89, of Lebanon, went to the Lord on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at her home.

She was born on May 8, 1922, the daughter of Alfred and Hazel Green.

She married Verlin Brunes on Sept. 4, 1941; Mr. Brunes passed away in 1997. She was then married to Raymond Quellhorst on Dec. 8, 1998. Mr. Quellhorst survives.

Mary worked for Avon Products as a district manager, retiring on Aug. 1, 1979.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, making pies, playing cards and having fun with friends and family.

Survivors include husband Raymond Quellhorst, Lebanon; son Alvin (Kaye) Brunes, North Salem; daughters Linda Turley, Lebanon; and Sharon (Fay) Isenhower, Lebanon; 12 step-children; five grandchildren, Brad (Carol) Boyd, Greenwood; Randy Boyd, Indianapolis; Susie (Dwayne) Glenn, Norfolk, Va.; Jeffrey (Lisa) Theil, Greenwood; and Peggy (Bill) Riggles, Bargersville; 28 step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and sister Carol (Ronnie) Allen, Kokomo.

Her parents and a sister and brother-in-law, Anita and Joe Copenhaver, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, at Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon. The Rosary will be held at the mortuary on Monday at 3:30 p.m. prior to the visitation.

The Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Myers Mortuary, with the Rev. Timothy Kroeger officiating.

Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lebanon.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 319 E. South St., Lebanon, IN 46052.
