Oswald T. Miller, 58 years old, of Paintertown, Iriwn RD 2, died Tuesday morning in the Westmoreland Hospital, where he had been a patient for 20 days. He was born October 22, 1892, in Larimer. He served in the United States Navy in World War I, was employed as a machinist with the Westinghouse Airbrake Company, and was a member of the Paintertown Lutheran Church, the Paintertown Volunteer Fire Department, and the Irwin American Legion Post 359. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Jane Kuhns Miller; one daughter, Mrs. Roy Painter, of Paintertown, and two grandchildren, Sally Jane Painter, and Roy Painter, Jr. Also suviving are these brothers and sisters: John, of Madison; William, of Iowa; Miss Clara Lindeman, of California; Mrs. Rose Gade, of Minnesota; Mrs. Lena Clawson, of Oregon; Mrs. Martha Olson, of Iowa, and Walter Lindeman, of Oregon. Friends will be received at the home of his daughter, where funeral sevices will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, with his pastor, Rev. William Kaiser, officiating. Military services will be in charge of the American Legion. Interment will be in the Irwin Union cemetery.
