Mrs. Lydia Schroedel

Mrs. Lydia Schroedel, 88, of the Fairview Mennonite Home, Preston, died today after a lengthy illness. Born May 20, 1874 in New Dundee, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Hunsberger. She came to the Twin City area in 1951 and had lived in Preston for the past eight years. She was also a resident of Vasser, Mich., for many years. Mrs. Schroedel was a member of Preston Mennonite Church.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Schroedel, in 1951. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Robert J. (Irene) Ferman of Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The body will be at the Ratz- Bechtel Funeral Home, Kitchener, until 11 a.m. Monday when removal will be made to Preston Mennonite Church for the funeral at 3 p.m. conducted by Rev. Albert Martin. Burial will be in Blenheim Mennonite
