Mrs. Margaret Minogue, of the county Galway, Ireland, arrived in Brainerd on Saturday last after an eventful voyage across the ocean. She came over on the British Princess, which was considerably delayed by fogs and bad weather. Twice the passengers had to take to the boats because the ship was on fire, but each time the flames were extinguished. The lady is a sister of Mrs. Jas. Cullen, and mother of Lizzie and Mary Minogue and Mrs. Jos. Rasch, long residents of this city. She will remain here about a month, when her daughter Miss Mary will return with her.
