BLOOMINGTON -- Kenneth E. Fuller, 91, of Bloomington, formerly of Lincoln, died Saturday, March 19, 2005, at 9:20 a.m. at BroMenn Hospital, Normal.

Mr. Fuller donated his body to medical science.

A private family service will be at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Mr. Fuller owned and operated Fuller Seed Company from 1940 to 1983.

He was born April 25, 1913, at Weiser, Idaho, to Frank E. and Ruth Plumb Fuller. He married Marjorie Banks on March 5, 1939, in Champaign.

He is survived by his wife, of Bloomington; one son, John (and Marian) Fuller of Littleton, Colo.; two daughters, Mary Ruth (and Gary) Myers of Bluemont, Va., and Jo Ann Duncan of Bloomington; five grandchildren, Marilyn Humphrey, Brad Myers, Leigh Johnson, Christopher Fuller and Randal Lohrenz; and seven great-grandchildren.

Two sons, Kenson B. Fuller and George W. Fuller, preceded him in death.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Normal. He had been president of the United Methodist Church of Lincoln board, a member of Lincoln Elks Club 914 and Lincoln Rotary, and was active throughout the Lincoln community.

He was Lincoln Courier Man of the Month in the mid-1960s.

He had been a licensed amateur radio operator since 1932.

He was a graduate of the University of Illinois in agricultural engineering, a member of the Gamma Sigma Delta honorary fraternity for agriculture and the University of Illinois Alumni Association, and was an avid Illini fan.

His many life lessons will be long remembered by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Lincoln, Oasis or the donor's choice.
