MOULTON ADVERTISER - 18 Mar 1886

"The Moulton Advertiser extends Ed Rolfe a warm and hearty welcome back in Alabama journalism. Under his skillful management the "Hartsell Index" will soon take its place among the first papers of the State, and be what it's name implies: an index to the intelligence and development of the people and country in which it is published— not only an index but a reflex of the political and scientific opinions of it's readers. Ed is a splendid writer, and his entire time will be given to the enterprise in which he is now engaged. Success to the "Index," also to its incoming and outgoing editors, for all of whom we entertain a very high opinion."

*Note - The Moulton Advertiser, still published in Lawrence County, is the oldest weekly newspaper in AL.
