MERCHANT MARINES
Robert F. Turing, age 78, died on March 1, 2012. Bob was born in Philadelphia then served his country in the Air Force and later in the Merchant Marines.
While on vacation in Cuba, he met and married the love of his life, America "Mary". Inseparable from the start, Bob and Mary continued their life and family together in the United States. They settled in National Park and Bob worked for Mobil for 36 years. Spending time with friends, traveling, dinner dances, and working election polls were just some of the things that they enjoyed. Their greatest joys, however, are family - especially Richard, their son; Jennifer their granddaughter, and Alexander and Aidan, their great grandchildren.
Beloved husband of America "Mary" (nee Perez); loving father of Richard; adoring grandfather of Jennifer (Andres) Abril (nee Turing); adoring great grandfather of Alexander and Aidan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. Service will follow. Interment will take place in Gloucester County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 240 S. Tuckahoe Road, Williamstown.
