Shreveport, LA - Miss Randi Nicole McKnight, 18, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012, in Shreveport. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7th, at Osborn Funeral Home. Church services will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Summer Grove Baptist Church. Officiating will be Dr. Rod Mastellar of Summer Grove Baptist Church and Chad Gilbert of Edgewater Baptist Church in New Orleans, LA.
Randi was a native and resident of Shreveport. She was a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church and a senior at Captain Shreve High School.
Randi is survived by her parents, Cindy and Tim McKnight; sister, Haley Rachelle Jean; maternal grandparents, Richard Stogsdill and Pat Wells of Converse, LA and Sher & Terry Miller of Bristol, TN; paternal grandparents, Sheryl McKnight of Shreveport and James McKnight of Headland, AL; paternal great-grandmother, Vivian Worsham numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Billy Stogsdill, Frank Stogsdill, Jamie Hill, Jason Doughty, Eric Lee and Stephen Luebbert.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Baker, Rick Engleau, Raymond Morgan, George Knuckles and Gary Bourgeois.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Fox and family for all the sincere love and support provided, the Louisiana Army National Guard, the students and faculty of Captain Shreve High School and the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office.
