Mary Linnie Gilbert was the only child born to Samuel L (1913-2009) and Carmel Melissa Enlow Gilbert (1915-1980).

She married Rodney E. Taylor on 30 Mar 1962 in Louisville, Jefferson, Kentucky.

A graduate of Theodore Ahrens Trade High School (either in 1959-1960).

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years Rodney E and a daughter Tara Melissa Taylor.

TAYLOR, MARY LINNIE GILBERT, 63, of Okolona, passed away March 31, 2006, at the Baptist East Hospital. She was the former Mary Gilbert, a Louisville native and a secretary for Dennis O'Brien, CPA.

Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her mother. She is survived by her loving husband, Rodney E. Taylor; a daughter, Tara M. Taylor Barnes; her father, Samuel Gilbert; and two grandchildren, Matthew L. Viar and Celina Madison Alger.

Her funeral services will be noon on Tuesday at Arch L. Heady & Son, Okolona, with burial in the Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the American Heart Association.
