Willard Estel McGlone went into the service in 1942. He received his basic training at Chanute Field, Illinois, and his advanced in the Royal Air Force in England. McGlone, the son of Leonard, Sr., and Berenice (Walker) McGlone, of Hanford, California, was graduated from Lemoore Union High School in 1940 and attended Visalia College in Visalia, California.
