Ralph Eugene Lewis, 88, of Kentwood, La., died March 2, 2012, at his home.
Visitation is 5 to 8 tonight at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, and 10 a.m. Monday at Mount Gilead Primitive Baptist Church in Franklin until services at 11. Elder Luke Addison and Bro. Harvey Bates will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Gilead Cemetery, Franklin.
Mr. Lewis was born March 5, 1923, in Summit, son of Isaac and Lois Branch Lewis.
He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Imogene Moak and Frances Young; and three brothers, Russell, Whitford and Robert Lewis.
He is survived by his wife, Delta Deaton Lewis; two sons, Ralph Eugene "Gene" Lewis Jr. and Gary Lee Lewis; one sister, Geraldine McIndoe; one brother, Lynnwood Lewis; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
