POSEY HERBERT JONES, SR., 82, of 215 Campbell Street, died Saturday in Chapel Hill, NC. He was married to Maude Lee Townsend on December 8, 1920. He worked for the US Postal Service and was a veteran of World War I. He was a former Master of the Morotock Lodge of Masons and was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Maude Lee Townsend Jones, one daughter, Jacqueline Jones Moyer, Roanoke, VA; two sons, Posey Herbert Jones, Jr., Cincinnatti, OH; Robert Lee Jones, Danville, VA; one brother, Lewis P. Jones, Winona, WV; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
