Rueben b. 1800 marr. Nancy Drumheller
Micajah Sr. inherited his father's farm about 1792, he raised his family there. After wife died, he later lived with his son who inherited the family farm.(or son lived with him)
Micajah is listed in the 1840 census as living with son, he is listed as a Veteran
This land is Micajah's homestead, after his death in 1845, son William lived there. Reuben and John, live nearby both are living there in the 1850 census. James and wife also live next to William, probably on father's land.
William left a will for his family in it he states..
All goes to his wife, after her death then goes to daughter Ellen Giles, all my real estate except for..a piece of land about 30' square which is the grave yard and is to be reserved for the family burying grounds..My thought is that it is the same Bowen farm cemetery that Micajah Sr. is buried on. It is a small Bowen family cemetery.
