Elmer E. Lopus (1869 NY-1952 NY) was married to Edith D. Lopus (1888 PA-1946). Census 1940 and 1930.

He had at least one sister: Maude Lopus (1872-) Lillibridge (William Lillibridge) . Their known children: Clysda, Mary, and Wilman Lillibridge. (obit and 1940 census)

Elmer and Edith's children were: son; Ed Lopus, and daughter; Mrs. Oscar Sandburg. Plus at the time of death he had four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. (obit)

Elmer E. Lopus, 83, Dies in Hospital; Funeral Sunday
Elmer E. Lopus, 83, father of Ed. Lopus, Superintendant of the McKean County Home and Farm in Smethport, died in the Kane Summit Hospital last, Thursday afternoon after a long illness.
The elder Mr. Lopus was a retired Pennsylvania brakeman and had been a resident of Kane for more than 50 years.
He was born in Busti, N.Y. on July 14, 1868, and came to Kane to reside 58 years ago. He resided on Maple Street, ext., Kane R.D. 2.
Mr Lopus was employed as a brakeman by the Pennsylvania Railroad for 39 years and was a long-time, active, member of the Kane Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his son are one daughter, Mrs. Oscar Sandburg (sp) of Kane; a sister, Mrs. Maude Lillibridge of Waterford: four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Hill Funeral Home in Kane Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. O. A. Jones pastor of the Kane Baptist Church, officated. He was assisted by the Rev. Stanley Chew, Alliance Church.
Pallbearers were: Andrew Butler, James Ross, Harry Shrubb (sp), Ralph Berbeisol (sp), Jess Clyde and Roy Sloan.
Those from out of town in attendance at the funeral included: Mr and Mrs. Ed. Lopus and son Dean, of Smethport: Mrs Maude Lillibridge, Mr & Mrs, Albert Lopus, Ralph lopus, Mr. and Mrs. James Steen (sp) and Mr. and Mrs. Ardel Patterson of Waterford (sp), Mr. and Mrs. Lester Lopus of Carry: Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Lopus of Warren; Mrs., Ethan Crow of Dearlake; Mrs Sarah Grady of Brookville; Francis and Paul Cyphere (sp) of Clarington; Harry Shrubb of Jamestown NY and Miss Edith Lopus of Erie.

New tidbit:
They sold transferred the deed of some land in Wetmore, McKean, Pennsylvania. Bradford Era: Elmer E. Lopus and wf to Carl Albert Anderson and wf, Wetmore Township $1.00
