Kate Elizabeth Masters, 88, of Grants Pass died Monday, Aug. 9, 2004, at Three Rivers Community Hospital.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at River Valley Community Church, with Dar Wolber and David Mathis, pastors, officiating. Private interment will be at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens.

Masters was born Jan. 2, 1916, in Highfill, Ark., where she graduated high school as salutatorian in 1934. She attended the University of Missouri for two years.
On Aug. 2, 1936, she married J. Lloyd Masters, who died June 25, 1974.
They raised their children and farmed in Carthage, Mo., until 1951, when they moved to Buena Park, Calif., where they worked for Knott's Berry Farm.
She worked in quality control in the preserving kitchen until retiring in 1972, when they moved to Grants Pass.
She was a member of First Baptist Church (now River Valley Community Church). She enjoyed Bible study fellowship, teaching Sunday school, sewing, needlework, gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include a son, L. George Masters of Grants Pass; two daughters, Cathryn L. Adams of Issaquah, Wash., and Carol A. Walker of Kent, Wash.; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
