Mrs. Martha L. Owens, widow of the late Emory E. Owens of Kerrmoor, and mother of the Rev. L. L. Owens, pastor of West Side Methodist Church, died last night at her home in Arlington, N.J. The body will be brought to Clearfield and funeral service and burial will be at Lumber City. Obituary and funeral notice later.

MRS. MARTHA OWENS
The body of Mrs. Martha L. Owens was brought to Clearfield yesterday and may be viewed at the West Side Methodist parsonage until Tuesday noon.
A brief service will be held at the house at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. W. W. Banks and the Rev. John T. T. Cummings. Further services will be held in the Methodist church at Lumber City at 3:15 with the pastor, the Rev. E. R. Raycroft in charge, assisted by the Rev. Elm F. Ilgnfritz of Osceola Mills. Interment will be in the Lumber City Cemetery.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. J. A. Nolan of Carlisle; Miss Nora Owens, Arlington, N.J.; Rev. L. L. Owens, Clearfield; Prof. J. S. Owens, Storrs Conn.; Mrs. W. R. Riddle, Philadelphia; and Mrs. J. A. Harter, State College. Surviving also are two sisters – Mrs. Philip Erhard of Johnstown, and Mrs. Perry Norris of New Millport; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Owens was aged 86 years and 1 day.
