London

Editor of "New York Tribune." In addition to being editor of the New York Tribune, he was also U.S. minister to France from 1889 to 1892 and the unsuccessful Republican vice-presidential candidate in 1892 (with President Benjamin Harrison). He was later the U.S. ambassador to Great Britain from 1905 until his death.
