Mom was a loved sister, wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She was a hard worker, generous to all and in love with God. She will be terribly missed, but reunited with her husband and in the presence of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, which is what will give her family and friends, joy and peace as we miss her presence here.
Mom was born May 2, 1922 in Lincoln, NE. Her parents were among the first Mexican-American families to settle in the Lincoln area 100 years ago.
Being born, raised and married in Lincoln, it was her desire to be buried next to her husband of 50 years, Leonard. Therefore, she will be brought back to Lincoln, where there will be a short graveside gathering of family and friends as she is laid to rest at 12 pm at Calvary Cemetery on Sat., March 3, 2012.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Heavenly Grace Funeral Home.
