| Birth: | Sep. 19, 1899 | | Death: | Mar. 21, 1971 |  Denton Pearsall Dead At 72 Personnel Officer Denton Pearsall Jr.. whose 25 years of service made him the senior member of the Westchester government cabinet, died yesterday in Mount Vernon Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Pearsall, 72, was mayor of Mount Vernon from 1935 to 1939, and was a member of its Board of Aldermen from 1927 to 1935. He lived at 15 Jefferson Place, Mount Vernon As chief of a staff of more than 30, he directed reforms in the county personnel rules while serving under County Executive Edwin G. Michaelian and two predecessors, James Hopkins and the late Herbert C. Gerlach. He also supervised the civil service examinations for the county as well as towns, villages and some other municipalities in Westchester.
