Edmonton Mayor. A noted Edmonton lawyer, he served as the Mayor of Edmonton, Alberta, from 1927 to 1929. He also served as a Member of the House of Commons in 1925, and 1930 to 1935, Edmonton City Alderman from 1922 to 1925, and a District Court Judge in 1935. He retired from politics in 1944.
