Patricia Jean Switzer, 77, of McDonald, TN, died Sunday, February 26, 2012, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Switzer was a homemaker and a member of St. Therese of Lisieux Parish in Cleveland, TN.
She loved to cross-stitch, had lots of friends at the YMCA, and was known as the hugger. She loved to hug.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Olive Aaron; brothers, Bill Aaron and Thomas Aaron.
She is survived by her husband, John Switzer, McDonald, TN; children, Susan Harper and husband, Robin, Harrison, TN, Barry Switzer, Orlando, FL, Theresa Thomas, Cleveland, TN; eight grandchildren, Josh Harper and wife, Denise, Nathan Harper and wife, Melissa, Katie Harper, Ashley Harper, Dora Harper, Tyler Switzer, Adam Perdue and Brad Thomas; one great-granddaughter, Isabella Harper; sister, Mary Catherine Reinsel; and brother, Richard Aaron.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, 900 Clingan Ridge Drive NW, Cleveland, TN 37312 with Father Albert C. Sescon officiating.
Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 4-7 p.m. Wednesday with a Rosary Service at 7 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN.
