Edna LaVerne Mellor Giles, 79, of Springville, died Friday, August 5, 1994. She was born to Gilbert L. and Mary Barbara Svertner Mellor on February 5, 1915, in Fayette, Utah. She married James Milton Giles in March 30, 1935. Their marriage was later solemnized in the LDS Salt Lake Temple. She is survived by husband James Milton Giles of Springville, six children: James G. and Bonnie Giles, Ronald M. and Jane Giles, David L. and Lauri Giles all of Springville; Stanley C. and Pam Giles, Carma Marie and Norman R. King, Patricia A. and William L. Webber all of Salt Lake City; two sisters and one brother: Mrs. Lula Crandall of Springville, Mrs. Emma Cook of Sandy, and Delbert Mellor of Springville; 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Burial was August 9, 1994.
