DEATH CALLS MRS. CAIN

The death of Mrs. Fred Cain Sr. occurred Sunday morning at eleven o'clock at the Soldiers Home in Minneapolis. After a prolonged illness covering a period of almost two years, she had gone three weeks ago to join her husband in the Soldiers Home.

The body arrived in Redwood over the M. & St. L. railroad Tuesday noon, being met at the train by Undertaker H. N. Bel and Messers
A. V. Fedderly, O. J. Swan, T. E. Kellum and Charles Beer, all members of the local G.A.R. Post, as pallbearers, and was taken to the home of her son, Arthur J. Cain, where the funeral was held at three o'clock, Rev C. F. Martin conducting the services. Burial took place in the local cemetery.

Mrs. Cain's maiden name was Jennie Lind Trask, and she was born in New York state in 1851, and was united in marriage in 1867 to Fred Cain who with their three sons and one daughter survive her. The children are E. J. Cain of Kelliher, this state; A. J. and Fred Cain, Jr., and Miss Purnell Cain of this city.

The deceased had lived a long and useful life. She and her husband had rounded out a married life of almost fifty years. Mr. Cain, who is an invalid, was taken to the Soldiers Home a couple months ago. The bereaved family have the sympathy of their many friends in their hour of sorrow.
