Francis Earl "Frank" Foster
Birth: Apr. 29, 1892
Providence County
Rhode Island, USA
Death: Aug. 9, 1974
Elmwood Park
Bergen County
New Jersey, USA

Husband of Maude Foster

Francis "Frank" Foster son of Frederick and Ellen Foster. He was born in Westville, Nova Scotia, Canada. He had one older sister, Mary born in 1890.

Married to Maude E. Duprey nee Preston July 29, 1916. They had no children. Frank was a Navy Veteran in WWI and WWII. He was a ship mate of my grandfather's and along with his wife my God Parents.

Frank worked before WWI as a chauffer for Good Year and before WWII he worked as a truck driver for a candy manufacturer, right before WWII he was an employee of the Cranston Print Works.

Uncle Frank was a very good man, he was shy and unsure of himself, but always treated me well as a kid. Every holiday there was a bond for me to be put away for college. He always made sure that there would be something for me to fall back on when I was on my own. When he lost his wife, according to what I have been told, he became lost. He stayed with family now and then and some roommates, but he always had a home with us. Although he loved his Rhode Island he knew he could always come to New Jersey to be with his best buddy Bert and his Goddaughter Sharon. He had several strokes late in life, mostly affecting his speech slightly and mostly making him very emotional. Very hard to take when your a child and see an adult crying. I could see in his eyes though how much he loved his wife, because that is when he would become sad. Although I miss him, I know he's back with his Maude and together they are happy and joyous in the kingdom of the Lord.
