Born in Colquitt County on November 26, 1925, Louise was the daughter of the late Lonnie Marshall Brooks and Willie Lee Hancock. She lived in Worth County most of her life except for the last three and a half years, where she was in Orange Park, Florida. Louise was formerly employed with Worth County Board of Education in the food services and also as a substitute teacher. She loved gardening and walking. She was member of Hartsfield Primitive Baptist Church during its existence.
Survivors include two daughters, Edith Bartley of Thomson, and Wanda Bartley of Orange Park, FL; two sons, Lonnie(Lisa) Bartley of Sylvester, and Ricky (Laura) Bartley of Shingler; five grandchildren, Stefanie, Allie, Blake, Amy, And Ashley Souter; three sisters, Georgia Lee Langley, Jewell Barksdale, both of Sylvester and Joyce Thomaston of Thomasville; six brothers, Hiram (Jack) Brooks, Charles Brooks, David Brooks, Cleston Brooks, Terry Brooks, and Berry Brooks.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, William Douglas Bartley.
