She was born on June 17, 1929 in Kentucky to Blanchet and Irene Oaks.
Virginia married Orville Nail on July 19, 1946. He preceded her in death on July 7, 2002.
She was a homemaker.
Virginia is survived by four sons, Eddie and his wife Debbie of Quincy, Warren and his wife Shelly of Mooresville, Wayne and his wife Paula of Mooresville, and Dennis of Mooresville; four daughters, Rena and her husband Jack of Franklin, Brenda and her husband Jeff of Cloverdale, Naomi and her husband Dusty of Reelsville, and Midge of Kentucky; one brother, Buster Oaks of Martinsville; 16 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Mike and Mark; two daughters, Karen and Donna; and one sister, Romona Portlock.
The service is at 1:00 on Monday, March 22, 2010 at Costin Funeral Chapel in Martinsville with Rev. Donald Endsley officiating.
Burial will be at New South Park Cemetery in Martinsville.
