A native of Darlington, Pa. he resided in this vicinity many years and was a member of the First Presbyterian church. Mr. Marshall was a motorman on the Newell streetcar line for 18 years be he was employed at the pottery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Margaret McKeone Marshall; four sons, Alvie Marshall of Tennessee, Russell Marshall and Frank Marshall of East Liverpool, and S/Sgt. Roland Marshall in England; three daughters, Mrs. John Gallimore of East Rochester, Pa. Mrs. Charles W. Smith of Youngstown and Mrs. Harold Wilson at home; a brother, Samuel Marshall of East Rochester; a sister, Mrs. Pattie Webb of Beaver Falls, and 13 grandchildren.
Rites will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Martin Funeral home by Rev. Arthur E. French Jr., acting pastor of the First Presbyterian church, and Rev. W.L. Matzo, pastor of the Anderson Methodist Church.
Interment will be in Columbiana County Memorial park.
