FUNERAL SERVICES HELD IN LOGAN

Hans Christian Hansen, 77, died January 28 at the L.D.S. Hosptial in Logan after a 3 day illness.
He was born November 24, 1881, a son of Hans Soren and Emma Saxton Hansen. He received his early education in Rich County schools and was a member of the L.D.S. Church, serving as a Bear Lake stake missionary, counselor in the Garden City Sunday School, choir leader in the Garden City Ward, counselor in the Lava Hot Springs bishopric for five years. At the time of his death he was a high priest in the Cache Stake and member of the 21st ward. He had resided in Logan the past eight years, where he waas an ardent temple worker, with work done for over 1100 names. In his early life, he was well known as a violinist. He served as a board member in the coporation of the town of Pickleville.
He was married September 4, 1907 in the Logan Temple to Lena Hildt. She died in 1934. He later married Alice Lundgren, who died in 1950.
He is survived by one son, Lavere H. Hansen of Garden City, one daughter, Mrs. Heber (Freda) Corbridge of Logan, four grand children and four great grandchildren; the following brothers and sisters, T. Wilford Hansen and Mrs. Vilate Hansen of Garden City, Brigham S. Hansen of Pocatello and Mrs. Bud (Pearl) Smith of Montpelier.
Funeral services were held in the Logan 21st ward Saturday. Burial was in Garden City cemetery, where the grave was dedicated by T. Wilford Hansen.
