Body Found Near Icehouse

Workers at an icehouse in southeast Houston today found the body of a man run over repeatedly by a car.

The victim was Charles Howard Tice, 53, of 3037 Golfcrest. His body was found about 7 a.m. at 6303 Griggs.

Harry Hall, investigator for the Harris County medical examiner's office, said Tice had been struck by a car and then run over several times.

Icehouse employees told investigators that Tice left the icehouse about midnight, stopping to argue with another man in the parking lot.

The argument was still going on as the icehouse closed up about 12:15 a.m., the employees said.
