Funeral services for Mrs. Trula Lawrence Coon, 55, of 133 Wesley St., Bluefield, Va. will be conducted Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Dudley Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, of Bluefield, Va. with Rev. W. L. Jenkins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Roselawn Cemetery in Princeton.
Born June 27, 1909 in Tazewell, Va., the daughter of the late Robert E. and Laura Brooks Lawrence, she died suddenly at home. She was the wife of John M. Coon, Sr.
Surviving in addition to her husband are four daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Margaret) Wilson of Bluefield, Mrs. Charles (Laura) Godsey of Manassas, Va., Mrs. Howard (Phyllis) Pruett of Bluefield, Va., and Brenda Coon of the home; three sons, John Coon, Jr. of Princeton, Ronald Coon of Tazewell, and James of the home; five sisters, Mrs. G. W. Necessary, Mrs. Clarence Shields, and Mrs. Faye Chandler of Bluefield, Claudia Lawrence of Bluefield, Va. and Mrs. William Yost of Roanoke, Va.; three brothers, Roy and Bob Lawrence of Bluefield and Charles Lawrence of Welch; 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Harry Maupin, Randall Kegley, Troy Busic, James Busic, Gerald Profitt, Tom Lambert, Friends will carry flowers.
The body remains at the funeral home where friends may call.
