Trerise-Robertson Marriage
Before about 35 relatives and friends Saturday evening, at 8:30 o'clock, Miss Beatrice D. Robertson, daughter of Mrs. B. D. Robertson, 5038 Range View avenue, was united in marriage at the home of her sister, Mrs. Elbert E. Trerise, 4950 Range View, to Benton L. Trerise of Highland Park, The Rev. Samuel Sutherland of Grace Presbyterian church
officiated. Preceding the ceremony Mrs. Elbert E. Trerise sang "Because" and George Brahams rendered "I Love You Truly." Miss Louise Robertson, sister of the bride, gowned in pink satin and lace, was maid of honor. She carried a lovely bouquet of pink sweet peas and roses. The bride was lovely in white georgette, with wreath of orange blossoms around her head. She carried a beautiful bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. Elbert E. Trerise, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Following the wedding, a reception was held for the contracting parties and guests, at which the bridal cake was cut. The house was beautified with gladiolus and ferns. Mr. and Mrs. Trerise left the following morning by motor for a two weeks' honeymoon trip to Lake Tahoe. Mrs. Trerise is a graduate of Franklin High school. Mr. Trerise is employed with an automobile distributor in Beverly Hills.
