Driver Dies at Wheel;
Auto Crashes House

Narrowly missing several pedestrians, an automobile, whose driver died suddenly at the wheel, Sunday, plowed through several vacant lots in Tujunga and crashed into a house at 10258 Scoville St., according to San Fernando police.

Officers said Cyrus P. Snyder, 45, of 10819 Woodward Ave., Sunland, was driving the machine when he apparently was seized with a heart attack. Grazing telephone poles, the runaway car traversed several lots and crashed into a house occupied by Dale Kimball.
