MORTON - Amy Merritt, 94, died Sunday, March 21, 2004.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jon Foster officiating. Burial will be in Morton Memorial Cemetery by Ellis Funeral Home.

Mrs. Merritt was born Dec. 30, 1909 in Elida, N.M. She came from Motley County to Cochran County in 1945.

Survivors include a son, Ervin Merritt; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
