MRS. THOS. CRAM ANSWERS THE CALL
Emma A. Bailey was born in Wisconsin October 27, 1849 and was therefore 72 years of age. She moved to Ft. Calhoun, Neb., with her adopted parents while a child. She was married to Thomas A. Cram February 27, 1870 and to this union were born 11 children, six girls and five boys. One, Ivan Cram, preceded his mother in death. There remains to mourn their mother's departure: Mrs. Frank Erikson, Mrs. Fred Rogert, T.A. Cram and William Cram, of Herman; C.E. Cram of Craig, Neb., Mrs. Elmer Headley and Mrs. Hans Hansen of Montana, Burt J. Cram, of Tekamah, Neb., Mrs. Benjamin Richmond, of Allen, Neb., and Mrs. Albert Means, of Omaha.
Mrs. Cram has 45 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Thomas A. Cram, died in 1904. Since his death, Mrs. Cram has been livinig among her children.
Shortly after moving from Calhoun to the New England community she was baptized into the faith of the Baptist church and became a member of the New England church. She had been a member of the New England church 52 years.
She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Eriksen, Tuesday January 2, 1923. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. T.S. Kesterson in the New England church. Interment in the New England cemetery.

Mrs. Emma Cram passed away at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Frank Ericksen, Tuesday, Jan. 2nd, as the result of pneumonia. She was past 72 years of age. The funeral was held at the New England church Thursday afternoon and burial was made in the New England cemetery.
