Janet McClelland Lambie, 84, died suddenly August 26 in Los Angeles, CA.. A native of Pittsburgh, PA., Miss Lambie was a graduate of Wellesley College. She resided in Wilkinsburg, PA. from 1910 to 1938, and taught Latin in Wilkinsburg and Peabody High School, retiring in 1938. Miss Lambie resided in Tucson from 1938 to 1956. She moved to Glendale, CA., in 1957. She resided at the Glendale United Presbyterian Home and was a member of the Occidental U.P. Church, Los Angeles.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. J. S. Lambie of Pittsburgh, PA.; nieces, Mrs. Edward Bligh of Rockville, NY., Lois Lambie of Fayetteville, NC., Mary Lambie of Morro Bay, CA., Ruth Lambie, of Greenville, NC.; a nephew, Col. R. A. Lambie (Ret.) of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Burial was atthe Forest Lawn memorial Park, Glendale, CA.
