Born Kathryn Elizabeth White in New York City, she was character actress who specialized in playing little old ladies, making her first acting appearance at the age of 65. For television she was best remembered for the role as "The Little Old Lady from Pasadena" on the Dodge commercials. She also was a regular on "I Spy", "Family Affair", "Dragnet", "My Three Sons", "Batman", "Hey, Landlord", "Get Smart", "Petticoat Junction" and "Gunsmoke". Her film credits included "The Love Bug" (1968), "The Shakiest Gun In The West" (1968), "Blackbeard's Ghost" (1968) and "Angel In My Pocket" (1969).
