Born in Cumberland he was a son of the late Philip A. and Elizabeth (Gerdeman) Hast. He was a retire certified public accountant. Surviving are five brothers, Albert H. Hast, Philip F. Hast, Norman R. Hast, Robert F. Hast and aArthur V. Hast, all of the city, and a sister, Mrs Ambrose J. Burkey, also of here. A service will be held today at 2 pm at the Wee Kirk of the Heather Chapel, Forest Lawn Park, Glendale, Calif. Interment will be in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
