Minnie M. Moore was born on 17 Sep 1865 in McDonough County, Illinois, the daughter of John Calvin Moore and Mary Ella (Cubbison) Moore.

She married Alfred Vincent 'Fred' Gray in 1906 after returning from Missionary work in China. They went back to China and continued as missionaries until 1922, returning to America from time to time.

Fred Gray died on 1 Jan 1925 in Iowa, and he is buried in New Providence, Hardin County, Iowa.

Minnie moved to Santa Ana, California after Fred's death, and she died in Glendale, California on 8 Feb 1952 at the age of 86.
