1930 census: William (age 46), Beda (age 44) and daughter Marjorie (age 7) lived at 1563 1/2 West 51st Street in Los Angeles, California. William's occupation was salesman in real estate office.


1940 census: William H. (age 55) and Beda (age 54) lived at 7830 Hobart, Los Angeles, California with daughter Marjorie (age 17). Lived same place in 1935.


On September 8, 1959 Beda was Naturalized in Los Angeles, California.


Marjorie: At the age of 13 years 267 days she won the gold medal in the 3-meter springboard diving at the 1936 Berlin Games. At the time she was the youngest-ever woman Olympic champion, as of 2023 she is the second-youngest. She won a total of eight AAU titles between 1936 and 1948. On March 25, 1943 in Los Angeles, Marjorie, age 20, married Edward Harrison Carter, then a student at UCLA. Date unknown but at some time Marjorie married a man with the name Bowman, they had two children. On June 23, 1978 Marjorie (Gestring) Bowman married Richard Stein Redlick in San Francisco. Marjorie died on April 20, 1992 after an accident at her home in Hillsborough, California. Marjorie's place of burial is unknown.


William's obituary shows Marjorie's last name to be Bowman at the time of his death in 1957.
