Former Resident Passes Away
John R. Crowther, 91, former Needles resident died Saturday [26 Jun 1965]. Burial was at Forest Lawn on Tuesday. He lived in Glendale for the past 20 years.
During the 30's he retired from the Santa Fe in Needles where he had been employed as a pipe fitter at the roundhouse.
Mr. Crowther, who was a member of the Needles Masonic lodge for 58 years, still has many friends living here.
