Edna S. Smith is the daughter of Albert F. Smith and Mary McMahon. She was the 5th of 9 children. Edna 1st married a Samuel Simon Schaffer on 1 April 1914 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Edna and Samuel moved to Los Angeles, Ca. in abt. 1930. They had no children.

Samuel died in 1946 and Edna married a 2nd time to Joseph Anthony Consalvi on 1 July 1947 in Los Angeles, Ca. Joseph Anthony Consalvi was an Italian immigrant, son of Gilberto Consalvi, Sr. and Anna Vincenza Rossetti. Joseph and Edna also had no children. Edna's 2nd husband Joseph Consalvi died in 1953.

When Edna died in 1965, she left her small estate to 2 of her sisters, Nellie [Smith] Harper and Olivia [Smith] Richards. Edna's remains were interred on 14 Aug 1965 with her 1st husband Samuel Simon Schaffer at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, Ca.
