Don was born July 25th, 1915 to Eugene C. Blodgett and Rose W. Walters in Revere, Mass., not far from the beach. He graduated from South Pasadena High School with the Class of 1932. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, from Caltech, in 1936. Married high school sweetheart, Alma Marine Kirk, on Nov 24th, Thanksgiving Day, 1938 in the Methodist Church of Pasadena, Calif. Became a petroleum engineer. Died of TB.
