Harry H. Bletcher, seventy, died Wednesday morning at his home, in Los Angeles, Calif., of the effects of a stroke. He was born in this city a son of the late Andrew J. and Emma Huber Bletcher and resided her until ten years ago when he and his wife moved to California. He was employed for more than twenty years as a job compositor on the old New Era. Besides his wife, who was Dora Hollinger, of this city, before marriage, he is survived by two sons, Donald V. of this city; and J. William, of Hollywood; a brother, William C., of Pittsburgh; and a sister, Ethel, wife of Lewis Frank, of this city. (Intelligencer Journal, Lancaster, Pa - March 1, 1940)
