She was a housewife and married to George S. Blackstad and they lived in Los Angeles, California for eleven years prior to her death. She suffered a stroke and died in the Georgia Street Receiving Hospital in Los Angeles. Her parents were John Joseph Waldron, Sr. and Bridget (McLaughlin) Waldron. Both of her parents were born in Roscommon, Co. Roscommon, Ireland. Funeral services were held on Thursday January 4, 1951 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Los Angeles, Calif. She was the youngest of her 10 siblings who all preceded her in death except for one sister, Mrs. Sara Schellsmidt and her husband, Gus, of Allamakee County Iowa. She was also preceded in death by a former husband, Maurice J. Wright, who died in 1939.
