She was born at Clay City on October 27, 1886, a daughter of John and Mary Babbs Raley
and on December 24, 1904, she was married at Louisville to George Franklin who preceded
her in death on February 3, 1971. She was a member of the Zenobia Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Lowell and Galen, both of Morrisonville; a sister, Mrs. Dot Duff of Clay City; 13 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Two sons, Kenneth in infancy; and Nelson on March 26, 1934, and a daughter, Mrs. Alberta Cole on February 15, 1969, preceded her in death as did one brother and two Funeral services will be held in Fishburn-Hough Funeral Home of Morrisonville with Rev. Robert Christopherson of the Morrisonville First United Methodist Church, as officiant and interment will follow in
Morrisonville Cemetery.
