First baby born in the (at that time) new community of Van Nuys, located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. Owned Huffaker's Auto Parts in North Hollywood for four decades and was a resident of Sherman Oaks. Named after two of the town's founders, HJ Whitley and Isaac Newton Van Nuys.
