A native of Shulerville, SC, Mrs. Schultz was the daughter of the late Joe Clayton Lewis and the late Mary Mae White Lewis.
Mrs. Evie was the former owner of Stephie's Buster Brown Shoes & Clothes and Bows by Evie. She was known as "The Hairbow Lady" to many for adding that special touch to all of her handmade hairbows. She was a charter member of Faith Assembly of God.
Mrs. Schultz is survived by her husband of 60 years, Henry "Stan" Schultz, Sr.; two sons, Billy "Mole" Schultz and wife Debbie and Henry "Stan" Schultz, Jr. all of Rock Hill; four brothers, Lester C. Lewis and wife Geraldine of Rock Hill, Samuel J. Lewis and wife Kay of South Boston, VA, Furman E. Lewis and wife, Barbara of Chester, SC and Mendel L. Lewis and wife, Sherrie, of Catawba, SC; her sister, Alma L. Hyatt and husband, John of Catawba, SC; her granddaughter, Stephanie Schultz Mattox and husband Adam of Fort Mill, SC and her great-grandson, Austin Mattox, the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by a baby sister, Vera Elizabeth Lewis.
Burial will be at 1:00 PM, February 22, 2012, at Grandview Memorial Park on South Cherry Road with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM at Faith Assembly of God with Pastor Brian Keith officiating.
