Eddie Floyd Tarpley, 57, of Hot Springs passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at his home. He was born December 8, 1954 in Gurdon, Arkansas to the late Helen Louise Lowe Tarpley and Bob Mack Tarpley.

He was former General Manager with KLAZ and its affiliates; past president of Arkansas Broadcasters Association; a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and a member of First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Heather (Jarod) Williams; brother, Billy (Sally) Tarpley; sister, Judy (Cleve) Barfield; granddaughter, Cecelia Williams; nieces, Jana Barfield, Rebecca Barfield, Natalie Tarpley; nephew, John "JT" Tarpley; aunts, Balma Blanton, Frances Tarpley and many much loved cousins and friends.

Graveside service will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Bethel Cemetery East of Okolona, Arkansas.

A Memorial service will be held 10:30 Saturday, February 25, 2012 at First United Methodist Church in Hot Springs.
