George McClellan, b. in Philadelphia, Oct. 29, 1849 ; d. in Philadelphia, March 29, 1913. He was an anatomist and surgeon in Philadelphia ; professor of applied anatomy in Jefferson Medical College and instructor in anatomy in the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. Among his published works are the following "Regional Anatomy" ; "The Anatomy of Children" ; "Anatomy in its Relation to Art."
Married Harriet Hare, daughter of Robert H. Hare of Philadelphia. No children.
