Prilla was born in Davilla Texas. To Samuel J. and Lorinda A. Foster. She was a wonderful writer of poetry. The family has a book of all her poems. Most of the poems are based on family members, places she traveled and her memories of her beloved Texas. In 1928, she sailed to Alaska. On her return, she ended this trip in Seattle, Washington. She remained in Washington until the mid 1950's, Then she moved to Arkansas and lived until her death in 1958.
